A generation who long deeply for Jesus

A2 Festival

A day packed with fun, outdoor games, worship, sessions and food!
Monday, 2nd of August, 2021
Lox Lane Retreat Centre, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 9PU

A2 Festival is brought to you by A2: youth workers from congregations across Bath, partnering with a team from Prayerhouse Weymouth, who have delivered Weymouth Camp since 1991 and Father's House Shaftesbury. We are working with Churches from the South West -  Bath to Bournemouth.

We have all endured over a year of restriction and separation. For many this has been painful, lonely and has come with personal loss. A barrage of complex issues and questions bombard young people from sunrise to sundown. Self-harm, anorexia, anxiety and depression among  young people are at an all-time high. We believe that now, God wants his turn - that God wants to flood in and call this precious generation back to himself. A generation who long deeply for Jesus and desire to see him revealed on the earth.

We believe that now is the time, as things are opening up, to invite you to come this summer to an environment where you can have loads of fun and connect with others, whilst having a life-changing experience with God.

Nestled in the heart of the Dorset countryside, a stone’s throw from the A30, is Lox Lane Christian Encounter Centre. It’s an old farm built from the local green sandstone which for the past 20 years has been the destination for thousands of people who have come to meet with God.This August it becomes the venue for A2 Festival.

The festival will feature worship led by up-and-coming worship leaders alongside life-changing speakers, crazy outdoor games and on-site activities, bungee-run etc. It's going to be one fun-packed day for just £10!

Under 18s  will need to come as part of a group, which must have a youth leader or parent to accompany it.

The venue will be open from 10am. Please bring a packed lunch. There will be drinking stations available at the venue.
Dinner will be provided and will be a BBQ (included in the price). We will do our best to offer vegetarian and vegan options.
If you have special dietary needs we ask that you bring some dinner as well.

The evening session will finish around 9.30pm

As we have limited parking on site, we ask that parents drop their young person off for the day and pick them up after the evening session. If you are a group leader or attending and will need a parking space, please choose yes in the booking form.

If you are part of a band or you have a talent to showcase, this is your big chance to shine! We will have a stage with a sound engineer just waiting to launch your career! Just book in your band and we will give you a slot on the main stage.
